Green rating systems have become a medium through which developers promote capitalistic gain and elitism at the expense of the greater community and environmental values the system was originally intended to support.
This group project exposes the gaps in the system which enable a false front for progress in terms of sustainability by designing a bad building that meets LEED Gold certification. After analysis, Green Certification Systems should not be the end goal of sustainable design
